iPhone App and in app purchases... Help Please???
Hi all, I am in the midst of having an iPhone app developed and I would like to have a "more" screen in the app where I can offer other apps for sale, promos etc. but I would like to be able to make changes to this screen on the fly without hiring a programmer each time. I was told using RSS or XML is a good way to do it.
Can anyone please tell me:
1 if Osmek is a good option for this?
2. If so, what is the level of difficulty to incorporate it with my
app (is it something I can do or do I need a programmer to
initially set it up)?
3. If Osmek isnt what I need does anyone know where I should be
looking?
Thanks o much
Mark

Hey Mark,
It sounds like Osmek will work perfect for what you're needing. You can create a section in Osmek to manage your other apps and promos, and Osmek will give you an XML, RSS or JSON feed which you can bring into your app.
I can't say how difficult it will be to incorporate the feed into the app since I'm not an iOS developer, but setting everything up on the Osmek side will be very easy. Try starting with a multi-entry section and use custom fields for any additional data you need for each item.
Post back here and let us know how it goes, and let us know if you run across any problems we can help with!
